Who we are

My husband and I have been around chickens all our lives. I grew up on a hatchery near Calistoga, California and when I married Steve, I married into another long time poultry family based in Petaluma, California (formerly known as the "egg basket of the world). It was only natural for us to get started in the egg business, and we've been doing it now for almost 15 years. We are now one of the first producers of OCIA certified eggs in Northern California and we take pride in the way we do things.

Sure, we have some better machinery now to wash and sort our eggs and we have more comfortable houses and nests for our hens, but we still do things pretty much the same as my great grandfather did back in 1905. Our hens are free to roam about and they get the very best certified organic grains available (we never use any animal by-products like typical factory egg operations). We make sure our water is fresh and pure and we constantly apply the highest quality standards to each step in the process of getting our fresh organic eggs from the hen house to your home.

We eat eggs in our household because I know they are nutritionally superior to almost all other protein sources and I want the very best for my family.When you see our label, you'll know that since my NAME is there, I'm going to make sure that the eggs inside are fresh, organic, and produced in a manner that is always consistent with the tenets of sustainable agriculture and good common sense.
